Oscars

This is a first, for me: An interactive serna blog. For those of you who watched the Oscars last night, how did you think Jon Stewart did? Add your comments, and let me know what you thought.

I didn’t watch them—and never do—but I’m a fan of Stewart, and, based on the few reviews I’ve seen, he didn’t do a very good job. But I’m wondering if it’s because his style of humour doesn’t apply to the Oscars, or if he just bombed, or if the reviewers were just out to lunch?

Let me know what you think.

I feel he did an adequate job. His biting political satire doesn't mix well with the staid conservatism of the academy. I think he lacked the targets that he usually has to attack, but he did well with what he had to work with.

I think he did fine too. I had a few good laughs, but I'm a fan and Jon didn't do anything that he wouldn't normally do or in a different manner much like previous hosts and their comedic routines, let's look at Letterman.........
